What each option returned over the last 12 months. FD rows show the rate you entered.
Every weekday at 4:15 PM IST (2:45 PM Dubai), after the Indian market closes, it downloads two years of daily closing prices for the Nifty 50 stocks, the Nifty index, India VIX and the sector indices from Yahoo Finance. You can also run it anytime with Run scan now. For stocks it uses only price and volume. It does not read company results, news or valuations.
The market gets points, then a label.
3 or more is Bullish, −1 or less is Cautious, anything between is Neutral.
7 or more is Accumulate, 4.5 to 6.9 is Watch, below 4.5 is Avoid. When the market mood is Cautious, no stock is allowed to be Accumulate; the best ones stay at Watch.
Every Accumulate call is saved as a paper trade at that day's closing price and followed for 60 trading days (about 3 months), then compared with what the Nifty did over the same period. After a few months this shows whether the scores actually beat the index. No real money and no orders are involved.
Fund NAVs come free from AMFI through mfapi.in. For each fund it shows the 1-year return, 3 and 5-year yearly average (CAGR), the worst fall in the last 3 years, and how often a 1-year holding was positive over the last 5 years. The SIP calculator replays a real monthly SIP on the fund's actual past NAVs and shows what it would be worth today, with the yearly return (XIRR).
Bond-type funds (government gilt, Bharat Bond PSU bonds, liquid) are tracked the same way. FD and bond rates you enter by hand, because banks don't publish them in a form the app can read. Everything lands on the 1-year scoreboard so you can compare stocks, funds, gold and FD side by side.
A high score means the chart looks strong today, not that the price will rise. Use it to shortlist stocks, then check the company yourself before investing.

Bond funds below are tracked automatically. Add FD or bond rates you get from your bank so they show on the scoreboard. As an NRI, check with HDFC which of these you can hold from your NRE or NRO account.
